Go for it!! Or at least 1/2 of it!!
I just came across and interesting tip. If you find yourself about 240 yards from the green with trouble on both sides what do you do? Especially if you're not hitting your 3 wood with too much confidence that day. Well here's an option to consider. Instead of hitting the 3 wood and risk going OB, why don't you cut the distance in half. So if you have 240 yards to the green, half that distance would be 120. Now you can take your PW or whatever club you hit 120 yards and play a relatively easy shot to the middle of the fairway. Then you have the same shot that you can play to the green. This should keep you from shooting a crazy high number. It's all about mitigating your damages people. Now get out there and play some golf!!
